Everyone in the Andellon universe knows the story: an ancient family, equipped with a magical sword, is cursed to fall if two sons are born in a single generation. Soon after this happens, a pair of immortals (sometimes fairies, sometimes ghosts, sometimes unnammed immortal beings) come into play and the family does indeed fall. While many variations exist, the immortals always have strange eye colors: the palest of blues for the male, and amber for the female. But not to be undaunted, one of the sons comes back as a ghost. His loyal servants return with him.
It turns out this story is true... parts of it, anyway.

Tristan Westlake takes his new bride to his childhood and ancestral home. The only problem is, it's now a tourist attraction, complete with inept tour guides, a gift shop and at least one unexpected guest...
